Mayflower Apartments in Louisville Central is the worst place in kentucky, I lived in those dirty apartments for 6 weeks and it was one of the worse experiences I ever had, I don't know where to start honestly, the smell in that place stinks!! probably because there are more dogs there than people, seriously its like a pet store, you would find every kind of dog you ever imagined, and in different sizes too!! the apartment was dirty, the stove did not work, there was no pillow and whenever you are taking a shower or running the water for a few minutes, the water suddenly turns yellow brown!!! I don't know about the location of the place but it seems a little dangerous, they had the whole neighborhood under cameras surveillance, so I suppose it wasn't a very safe neighborhood, and after that you know what'!! when I checked out I asked for my deposit and they told me the check needs some processing and that I will receive it in 2 months, 2 months passes by and there is nothing, I call them and they tell me they will look into it, and after a couple more months nothing happens, this keeps on going for nearly 2 years and one of the times I called them the lady there told me that she is sending the check today and I am supposed to get it in a few days and after a month I call her and ask her about the check and she doesn't even remember me!!!! anyway a week ago I call again as usual and she tells me that the owner just remembered who I am, I am the guy who damaged the apartment, and we are sorry but we are not giving you back your deposit!! believe it or not I left the apartment in a better shape than when I first got it, at least it had a pillow when I left it!! so its not only the nasty apartments they have, they steal your money too!! so I am warning you, this is the last place you want to consider living in, and you would imagine that trash can would be a cheap place but its not, the studio apartment is for 700$/month, and since your deposit will never come back to you it will be 950$/month, ohh and by the way, 2 of my friends who lived there did not get their deposit back so I am not kidding when I tell you kiss that deposit goodbye, they keep on changing the lady on the front desk so what happened with me is that I contacted one lady so I can rent the apartment and I sent her the deposit, when i checked in there was a new lady and a few months after I left and called them about my deposit it was a 3rd lady, which of course will make it even harder for anyone to get their deposit!! anyway I can keep on talking for years about how bad those 6 weeks were, just dont think of passing infront of that place, and I swear I am NOT exaggerating anything!
